About Me

My name is Emma and I have a passion to help every child fall in love with reading + writing. I’m so glad you’re here! I moved to Boone in 2018 to attend Appalachian State University, where I earned an undergraduate degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education with concentrations in reading and autism spectrum disorder. I currently reside just outside of Boone, NC with my husband, my son, 2 cats, and 20 chickens. When I’m not working, you can find me in my garden, playing pickleball, or enjoying some quality time with family and friends!
